- Oil and gold leaf on MDF wood panel of 20×20×0.5 cm (7.8”x7.8”x0.1″) each, ready to hang.
- Signed on the front.
- Signed certificate of authenticity.
I make these with oil, gold and MDF. The oil painting is used in thin layers with the wood laying down on the floor, because for me it is a comfortable way of working. The MDF is sealed with gesso, which is a kind of glue, to protect the wood from the painting and the elements. It is sand and then I add the gold leaf and the paint.
The subject is Colombia. I’m emphasising its Microecosystems.

- Óleo y hojilla sobre Madera MDF de 20×20×0.5 cm (7.8”x7.8”x0.1″) cada uno, listo para colgar.
- Firmado al frente.
- Certificado de autenticidad firmado.
Hice esta pieza con óleo, hojilla y MDF. Usé el óleo en capas delgadas apoyando la madera en el piso, porque para mí es la forma más cómoda de trabajar. El MDF es sellado con gesso, que es una especie de pegamento, para proteger la madera de la pintura y del ambiente. Es lijado y luego le agrego la hojilla y el óleo.
El tema es Colombia haciendo énfasis en sus Microecosistemas.
